Youth Exchange

Rotary hosts the Exchange of high school
students, local students to other Host countries and students from other
countries to Hermiston High School. Financial support and local Rotary
member safe homes are made available to Exchange students. Hermiston
Rotary Club annually sponsors one outgoing and one incoming student.

RYLA

The purpose of RYLA is to
recognize young leaders and provide them with an opportunity to expand their
perceptions and ideals. RYLA participants gain knowledge about themselves
and learn to work with others in order to become a better person and a
future leader. Participants are selected through an essay and
application process through their local Rotary Club. Once selected to
receive the award, young adults are invited to attend a weeklong seminar
aimed at further developing their interpersonal and leadership skills.
Hermiston Rotary Club sponsors the annual 4-way essay contest.

is a Rotary-sponsored service club for secondary school students.
ROTARACT

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club
for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either
community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club.
